Surprisingly, it’s happened to me more times than I expected.
Vybes was an organic deodorant brand from Australia I worked on, designing packaging for a product that, in the end, never made it to market.
It’s a weird feeling putting so much thought into packaging for a product that people will never see on a shelf.

Ghost brands make the best portfolio pieces. No last-minute "can we make the logo bigger", just the design exactly as it was meant to be. Those Vybes tubes deserved a shelf though.

Shelved packs tend to be the cleanest thing in the folder, since nobody got to dilute them with retailer notes. Did the Vybes tube system end up living on anywhere, even just as a case study?
I still have to make a strong portfolio case study for it haha
a whole badge system nobody ever saw. so i turned it into a product.

For THÉRAPEAU, I wanted to push the visual identity beyond packaging and explore how serum, gel and cream could become part of the brand language itself.
Using the core wordmark as a starting point, I experimented with different materials, colours and tactile expressions — turning skincare textures into typography and visual studies.
These explorations were created together with ChatGPT as part of the creative process, helping me test ideas quickly while keeping the final brand direction grounded in my own identity system and design decisions.
