My Laptop WENT OFF while i was submitting my submission and i could'nt submit but still im gonna post it cause i have worked crazily on this project
Canvas & Co is a fictional art gallery that curates artwork from contemporary masters and emerging visionaries from around the world. The website allows visitors to explore current exhibitions, browse pieces from the collection, and book personalized tours for a more immersive gallery experience.
For this project, I started in Google Stitch by describing the kind of experience and visual direction I wanted. My goal was to create a premium, minimal, and immersive digital gallery. Stitch generated the initial layouts and structure, which gave me a strong starting point to build from.
From there, I went through multiple rounds of iteration. I modified the generated designs several times, experimented with different font pairings, tested various color palettes, and refined the layout until it captured the atmosphere I was aiming for. Some sections stayed close to the original generation, while others evolved significantly through experimentation.
The feature I found most useful was In-Place AI Edits using prompts and point-and-click interactions. It made it incredibly easy to test ideas, make changes, and quickly iterate on the design. I also really enjoyed Streaming Generations Directly to the Canvas because it felt like watching the design come together live, making the creative process much more interactive.
To take the experience further, I used Antigravity MCP to help implement advanced animations, interactions, and code refinements. This allowed me to add richer motion effects and create a more engaging experience while still keeping the original design direction created in Stitch. Once everything was polished and working as intended, I deployed the final project on Vercel.
Workflow
Google Stitch → Generated the initial layouts, visual direction, and overall experience.
Google Stitch Iterations → Refined typography, color palettes, layouts, and interactions using prompts and in-place AI edits.
Antigravity MCP → Implemented advanced animations, interactions, and code refinements.
Final Polish & Testing → Refined responsiveness, motion, and user experience.
Vercel → Deployed the final project for sharing and submission.
Overall, Canvas & Co was an exploration of how AI-assisted design tools can accelerate the creative process while still allowing room for experimentation, refinement, and custom interactive experiences. One design decision I made early on was to keep the experience on a single page rather than splitting it into multiple screens. Since the goal was to create a seamless gallery experience, I didn't want users to constantly navigate between different pages or lose context while exploring. Instead of creating 4–5 separate screens, I designed the website as a single immersive journey where each section naturally leads to the next through navigation and interactions. This helped keep the workflow simple, reduced friction, and allowed visitors to focus on exploring the gallery, exhibitions, collection, and tour information without unnecessary complexity. To make the experience feel more immersive, I also added background music inspired by the atmosphere of a real art gallery. Since visitors aren't physically walking through the space, I wanted to recreate some of that feeling digitally. The music helps set the mood and makes the experience feel less like browsing a website and more like slowly exploring a curated gallery space. Combined with the animations and transitions, it helps create a calmer and more engaging journey through the artwork. here is live link: https://canvas-and-co-topaz.vercel.app/ post on x (posted before the submision time!):https://x.com/TanviShimpi/status/2062428191650939068 stitch project link:https://stitch.withgoogle.com/projects/9874630916302792864 @Stitch by Google i hope you atleast take a look at my project.
